Dr Teoh is the Medical Director and Hematologist at the CBD, and Medical Director of Gleneagles Apheresis Centre. He was trained at the National University of Singapore and Singapore General Hospital; and was previously a Faculty Member of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School, Boston. Dr Teoh has extensive first-hand experience in cellular and biomolecular research in Hematology and Immunology. He is specifically trained in General and Advanced Hematology, Internal Medicine, Tailored Targeted Therapies, Immunotherapy and Anti-Cancer Vaccines. He has more than 30 international peer-reviewed publications; and is an international speaker in the field of Multiple Myeloma. He is also the International Study Chairman of a number of clinical trials in Multiple Myeloma; and Advisory Board Member to major pharmaceutical companies.

CBD
The CBD is a one-stop treatment centre for all forms of blood disorders; including all disorders of the red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets; disorders of coagulation; transfusion medicine; haematological malignancies (e.g.leukaemia/leukemia, lymphoma and multiple myeloma); apheresis; haematological stem cell transplantation; and general haematology.

The CBD also conducts clinical trials at local and international levels to bring new therapies to patients. In particular, the CBD specializes in Tailored Targetted Therapies for haematological malignancies. Importantly, many of these clinical trials in Targetted Therapies include sponsorship of novel study-related drugs that are not available in several countries and institutions.
